Spring - The thing you miss the most is back. The new session starts on June 4th.

Post Winter - The new session starts on March 12th.

Winter - The new session starts on January 8th.

Summer - The session is off to a good start. The web site is not. I was a couple weeks behind, but updates have finally arrived.

New Year Session - As a long Halloween draws to a close, the website has finally been updated, and the time for session fees is upon us. The new session starts on 1/9, and hopefully everyone included "getting better at hockey" as part of their resolutions for the new year.

Summer Session - The new session starts on 6/6. Pay your fees, update your calendars, and show up to play hockey.

Launch - Welcome to the official website of The Better Than Nothing Hockey league, or BTNHL for short. This site was created to keep everyone up to date on the latest happenings around the league. You can find the schedule. roster and pictures from games and outings available here.

The Gallery and Video pages are now online. Check 'em out!

And remember, some hockey is better than no hockey.

About the BTNHL

BTNHL began several years ago as a small group of friends that wanted to play a little extra hockey on the weekends in a fun, non-league environment.

Many sessions later, the BTNHL (and the fun) have grown tremendously, and it has not lost its appeal to those seeking a friendly on-ice atmosphere where you can root for players on both sides and never worry about being “taken out” on the ice.

BTNHL is a co-ed hockey community which consists of a mixture of skill levels (predominantly D and C level skaters), and does so in a controlled easy-going environment with a single referee. Rules are bent slightly where necessary to speed up play and add to the enjoyment.
